Hi Raymond Islanders! We are sad to inform you that we will be leaving the Island at the end of August to pursue our careers further in Melbourne. We have had a fantastic time here and would love to stay, but unfortunately at this moment in our lives it's just not working out. We know that many of you care deeply for A'Beckett Park and hope that it's future is bright and full of school children. Hall's
Outdoor Education still
has a lease on the property until May 2009 and will continue to manage
the property until then. First Term is booked full already for next year
and we are sure that those students and teachers will have a fantastic
time here.
Although we have only
been here a short time, we feel like part of the community and are
thankful for everyone's friendliness towards us. We feel fortunate to
have met those of you that we have, and would have loved to have met
everyone else over time, but we'll be back to visit and maybe we'll meet
the rest of you then! All the best in the future to all of you and the
Island in general.
